Main content
People describe me as good-natured, professional and strict, but fair. Outside working hours, I like cooking and, obviously, great food. I also enjoy watching movies and series and would love to travel to Japan, South Korea and New Zealand.

What do you like about your job?

What I like about my profession is informing and teaching people about taking better care of themselves. That is why I enjoy performing periodontal treatments (elaborate dental cleaning) so much. Somebody comes in with a severe gum infection and if the patient and I can work together well, we can turn this around into a healthy situation!

How do you really get to know your patients?

By listening to every patient’s personal story without judgment. People are often embarrassed about not visiting for a long time. I always tell them that I’m happy that they showed up and that we’re starting with a clean slate, whatever the situation may be. I also really listen to the patient when I ask how they are doing. Sometimes they give a short answer, which is fine, of course. But some patients will tell me something fun or something not so fun. If I get such an answer, I find it even more important to respond empathetically and ask more questions about why it’s going well or not and really listen. During the patient’s next visit, I always ask about their situation and, in my experience, patients find this very thoughtful.

Why should people get to know TAND150?

Because the team is not only fun and pleasant, but also very professional and skilled. In addition, I feel that we listen well to patients’ needs and do everything we can to make them a reality.
