Hiske Brands

It is my passion to give people a beautiful and healthy set of teeth. That is why I am very interested in esthetic dentistry. To stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, I attend various continuing training courses. I also believe it’s important that my patients have a comfortable experience in the dentist chair and that we can discuss treatment plans thoroughly. It’s not just about treating someone’s teeth, it’s about treating a person. And I like to take the time to do so.

Why do you work at TAND150?

In 2006, I graduated as a dentist from ACTA (the Dutch academic center for dentistry in Amsterdam). After graduating, I gained more experience in the general dentistry by working at different practices. The atmosphere at the practice at the Koninginneweg appealed to me from the start. I liked the informal and pleasant communication between colleagues and patients so much that now, 15 years later, I still very much enjoy working here at the Koninginneweg.

What are your specializations?

I started my specialization in implantology in 2009. Prior to that, in 2014/2015, I obtained my master’s from ACTA. I am keen on making chairside crowns with Cad/Cam CEREC chairside dentistry. I’ve also completed a training course on transparant orthodontics with Invisalign’s Clear Aligners. I view complex and elaborated treatment plans as a challenge.
